Lexa International Consulting took part in the second edition of the conference organised by the Association Professionnelle des Etablissements de Crédit du Congo (APEC-Congo), held in Brazzaville from 3- 4 October 2024, on the theme of ‘The general issue of financing agriculture and debt recovery problems’. It was attended by a number of authorities, including the Minister for the Economy and Finance and the Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
The main aim of the conference was to bring together economic players (households, public administrations, businesses and financial institutions) to share their experiences and perspectives on agricultural financing, using the products and services offered by financial institutions (particularly banks), and to explore possible solutions to the problems of collecting their debts.
In addition, Lexa International Consulting, through its founder Mrs Bourgelie AMPION (managing partner), had the opportunity to give a presentation on the theme of ‘debt collection: issues and difficulties’. This presentation highlighted the various pragmatic aspects of amicable debt collection, taking into account the complexity and administrative burden of judicial debt collection, as well as the associated costs.
Finally, the expertise of Lexa International Consulting has highlighted internal and external solutions for collection services for credit institutions, with the aim of improving the management of their debtors more effectively.
